I'm no good at dancing, yet I have to do something: Summer League, Fell, EVRC Champs

We have a holy trinity of EVRC race experiences coming up…roads with Summer League, soil and hills with a Fell champs race and a sprinkling of accessible trail brutality with the PAIRS run. It’s not often you get the chance to experience so much EVRC lovin in such a short space of time.

Wednesday 25th April 19:15. Summer League R1 Hexgreave

Sunday 6th May. Peat Pit Woods Fell

Wednesday 9th May 19:00. EVRC Pairs

This Wednesday Spring FART

Wednesday: FART into Spring. To celebrate spring being here after the longest winter since 1743 we’re heading out to do the FARTS route on Wednesday. For those not wishing to FART normal club night still stands..but treat yourself and head over the fields. Preferably over the PAIRS route, so there’s none of that getting lost business happening again when the series kicks off.

Sundays gentle jog round a park, 2017 lifes winners, 2018 insights

We’re well into 2018 now and the 2017 Season was officially closed off at our rather excellent prize party evening. Congratulations to all our winners from the 2017 running champs and our 1st ever bake off champs (think that’ll be returning next year). If you weren’t around on the evening to collect your trophy / medal we’ll have them with us at the XC on Sunday.

A farewell 2017 Dream Mile and Awards night. A hello 2018 Beer mile and XC

Hope you all had a very healthy and training intensive Christmas and are ready for a spectacular New Year. Before we reach 2018 there is just 1 last thing to do…Dream Mile 31st Dec, Bramcote Track 10:00. It’s a Pb and record counter. May need something a little grippy on the feet to stay upright and as a special New Years Eve treat we’ll even do a cool down lap of the Bramcote XC course.

FARTS, ARSE and POOPS all the way to the pub

A little EVRC FYI for this weeks funzies...

This Wednesday's club night (13/12) is a little different because it includes the annual FARTS night. A normal club night run is still on at 19:00 but if you’re up for a FART some ARSE or a POOP the full details are below. You will need off road shoes and a headtorch. With the recent weather we’re expecting the conditions to be difficult (sludge), so be sensible with your selection of route. Being out in mud, -5 and in the dark on an unfamiliar route for longer than 2hrs is not wise.

Mud, beer and revolution #wheresbob

The summer and autumn race season is over which means it’s time to get some winter miles in to build that aerobic base, some cross country strength training in to injury proof and crank up your potential top speed and some beer training so you don’t embarrass yourself at the xmas party. Handily EVRC is to here help with all of that.

Dates for your diary.
