As you know we had to cancel the last one planned for May so I am hopeful we can get it together this time. Taking some feedback we are going to meet in the same place: The Robin Hood Inn, Chesterfield Rd, Baslow, Derbyshire DE45 1PQ but we are going to meet up a little later to give people a bit longer to travel from work. We will meet at 7pm for a 7.15 running start.
Gary Newham and Brett Belshaw are keen to re-establish the monday night training sessions. I think this is a very good idea and would be prepared to support this becoming a regular session. I propose we kick this off tomorrow (Monday 3rd June) meeting at the Club at 6.45pm.
Sessions will be informal and consist of whatever we want but could be hill reps or interval training. If we can get a good group of people coming along we could have 2 or 3 different groups doing different sessions.
Due to the Sustrans route having works done on the day of the race, we have had to cancel THE RUN for 2013. We aim to host the race again in 2014.
Please accept our apologies and pass this message on to others.
