Eastbourne 1/2 Marathon

The Eastbourne Half Marathon, now in its fourteenth year is planned to be even bigger and better than previous years.
Following the huge success of 2017 we are hoping to attract over 2000 entrants.

The Eastbourne Half is very much a community event and is most definitely aimed at runners of all abilities.
We as organisers are just as excited at seeing the last person finish as we are the first; so why not set yourself the challenge for 2018 .
Get out your running shoes and get training.

Also new for this year we have more bands and entertainment along the route offering encouragement and we will have 'pacers' to help you achieve your set goal or PB.

The ethos behind the Eastbourne Half Marathon is to raise money for charities and local good causes.
Over the years we have given directly to charity over £130,000 and much, much more has been raised for entrants' own personal charities.
Please do download a sponsor form and run for a good cause. The Eastbourne Half is very much a community event and is most definitely aimed at runners of all abilities.

Also new for 2018 there will be more bands and entertainment along the route offering encouragement
and there will also be 'pacers' to help you achieve your set goal or PB.

The race starts in Princes Park and mostly follows the seafront promenades towards Beachy Head
and back to Sovereign Harbour, where the course loops back to the finish which is located in Princes Park.
